Listed Building Interior Design

Interior design services for the historic Grade 11* Jesuit Retreat Centre in North Wales. Services included careful design work and close working with the Client to provide concepts, colour schemes, space planning, finishes selections, FF&E specifications, ordering of goods and coordinated delivery to site to suit tight shut down schedules.

Interior finishes included soft and resilient floor finishes, wall finishes suitable for lime plaster, case goods and design of bespoke furniture, curtains and coordinated textiles, order of new furniture, re-upholstering of existing furniture, tiling schedules, specification drawings and written schedules.

Completed in 2 phases of work to maximise room letting, Igloo was asked to provide budgeted interior design services to refurbish newly fitted en-suite bedrooms, dining hall and community lounge. Concealed fireplaces were refurbished and a fully functioning open fireplace reinstated with design work completed for the carving of a new fire surround to the lounge). The bedroom fully re-furbished

Working alongside the building’s Architects’ for bedroom refurbishments, overseeing building work to the dining hall and lounge to complete interior refurbishments, work was completed over a two year period.

Nestling in beautiful grounds, the distinctive grey stone period building has taken on a new lease of life for years to come.
